Britney Barks at Paris, Lohan Goes Plastic

Tabloid magazine In Touch reports that WILMER VALDERRAMA and convicted lipsyncer ASHLEE SIMPSON have been quietly dating. The couple were spotted together at Studio Yogurt in Studio City for dessert, and at the Avalon nightclub in Los Angeles on February 4th.

" She is really into him and he likes her a lot, too," a pal revealed. "But he's not ready to jump into another serious romance with such a young girl. They're definitely dating though." A close pal to Simpson added that the singer is "crazy about Wilmer and really wants to tell the world how she feels, but for the time being, she's only telling her closest friends."

Pop princess BRITNEY SPEARS has started celebrity dog wars after claiming her dogs BIT BIT and LACY LOO are "so much cuter" than hotel hottie PARIS HILTON's little Chihuahua TINKERBELL.

A source close to Paris says Britney has canine envy and that Tinkerbell is MUCH more famous then Britney's dogs.

The close source tells MSNBC, "Sounds to me like Britney's got a serious case of canine envy," the source sneered. "Britney copied Paris. Paris had Tinkerbell way before Britney, and Tinkerbell is much more famous than Britney's dogs - whatever their names are."

Spears started her canine family last spring with Maltese puppy Lacy Loo, before buying Bit Bit and more recently LUCKY.

Spears enthuses on her official Web site, "My dogs are stylin' and profilin' because Von Dutch just sent them the coolest little clothes.

" I think my dogs are so much cuter than Tinkerbell."

Spears brought Bit Bit to the Billboard Music Awards in December, wearing a diamond-studded collar and recently made the headlines for feeding her petite pooch a $180 steak in a top restaurant.

LINDSAY GOES PLASTIC

The Associated Press reports that teen drama queen LIDSAY LOHAN is getting the Barbie treatment with a new doll made in her likeness by toymaker Mattel.

The shapely Lohan doll is due out in June and will retail for about $30. The doll comes red carpet ready; dressed in a fur-trimmed coat, maxed-out cleavage and heels.

Now teenage girls have something they can carry to the clubs while they underage drink!

BROSNAN'S PRICE TO PLAY BOND AGAIN

Irish actor PIERCE BROSNAN allegedly was dropped from playing the coveted role of James Bond because he demanded an astounding $42 million to reprise his role as the superspy for a fifth time.

Producers laughed at the demand and dropped the 51-year-old Irishman -- in favor of finding a new 007 for the upcoming 21st Bond blockbuster "Casino Royale."

Brosnan has spoken of being "surprised, disappointed and saddened" that "Die Another Day," which grossed $456 million will be his last outing as 007, but claims his wage "was an honest fee in terms of how much blood, sweat and tears I put into the role."

Drinking martinis, driving exotic cars and bedding beautiful Bond babes... That's really hard work!

JUDE'S WIFE SWAPPING SESSIONS?

The British star couple, who divorced in 2003 after six years of marriage, reportedly first got involved in the romps with their friends, Supergrass drummer DANNY GOFFEY and his girlfriend PEARL LOWE, during a Greek holiday and the aftermath of the sessions had a fatal affect on Jude and Sadie's marriage. However, the sessions reportedly took place again, deepening Jude's obsession with Pearl and he began contacting her, asking if the couple could take their relationship to the next level. Law is now engaged to his "Alfie" co-star SIENNA MILLER, while Sadie is living with boyfriend JACKSON SCOTT. When Pearl, who still sees Jude because their sons are friends, was questioned about the sessions, she refused to comment.

CAGE TO BE A DAD

Representatives of Academy Award winner NICOLAS CAGE announced recently that the actor is to be a dad for second time at the age of 41.

Cage, who married ALICE KIM, an ex-sushi waitress 20 years his junior, last year, confirmed the happy news on February 15. The couple exchanged vows in a surprise ceremony on July 30 last year at a private chapel in a secluded retreat in the Santa Cruz Mountains.

Shortly after his wedding to Kim, Star Magazine reported that Nic was desperate for more children -- something he had not been able to achieve with his two short previous marriages to PATRICIA ARQUETTE in 1995 and LISA MARIE PRESLEY in 2002.

However, Cage does have a 14-year-old son, by a previous relationship with actress/model KRISTINA FULTON.

JACKO'S ALLSTARS

On the heels of former child star COREY FELDMAN's subpoena to testify in the MICHAEL JACKSON child molestation trial, the defense has released a list of their own celebrities who may testify on behalf of the pop star.

Among the names of possible witnesses are basketball star KOBE BRYANT, actress ELIZABETH TAYLOR, comedian CHRIS TUCKER, CNN's talk-show host Larry King, Backstreet Boy NICK CARTER and his younger brother AARON CARTER.

The Associated Press reports that the star studded names were presented to the prospective jurors on Monday, February 14 to determine whether or not the pool had any associations with the celebrities that may affect the jury selection process.

Other possible witnesses include Jackson's own children PARIS and PRINCE MICHAEL, musicians STEVIE WONDER and DIANA ROSS, producer QUINCY JONES, and illusionist DAVID BLAINE.

Out of the pool of 240 prospective jurors, 12 will be chosen, with an additional eight people as alternates.

Jackson has pleaded "not guilty" to charges of child molestation, administering an intoxicating agent, and conspiring to commit child abduction, false imprisonment and extortion. He is free on $3 million bail. If he is found guilty, he faces more than 20 years in prison.

BIG MOUTH BY LITTLE BROTHER

Teen pop singer AARON CARTER spoke with FoxNews.com to insist that troubled star MICHAEL JACKSON is indeed straight and that nothing inappropriate ever happened between them.

But big mouth Carter also revealed that his older brother NICK CARTER of the Backstreet Boys did hit his ex-girlfriend PARIS HILTON. "He hit her," Aaron told the news channel on Sunday night at the big Grammy celebration party following the awards show, "and he hit me."

Aaron also added that while he did complete his G.E.D. for high school, Nick "is a drop-out."

Looks like Aaron is in for another beating by big brother!

REALITY NBC 'CONTENDER' COMMITS SUICIDE
February 15, 2005

A promising young boxer on the upcoming NBC boxing reality series "The Contender," committed suicide on Monday in Philadelphia. Network officials offered no other details about the death of 23-year-old NAJAI "NITRO" TURPIN, though they said they thought it was not related to any of the events of the television series.

However, the Philadelphia Daily News reports that Turpin shot himself in a parked car in front of his girlfriend.

Host SYLVESTER STALLONE describes Turpin in the March 7 premiere as a "tough, punchy street kid fighting for a better life for his family."

All segments for the show have already been taped, with the exception of a live championship finale, and network executives say the series will premiere as scheduled on March 7. "The Contender" producer, MARK BURNETT, said in a statement that he would not edit the show any differently, in light of the tragedy, but would most likely include a message about Turpin's death at the end of one of the episodes.

JACKO RUSHED TO HOSPITAL

MICHAEL JACKSON was rushed to the hospital on his way to court Tuesday morning. The King of Pop was scheduled to appear for the continuing jury selection process in his child molestation case, but was reportedly taken to the Marian Medical Center in Santa Maria for severe flu symptoms.

So far, there have been no further details on his condition, but the Judge residing has delayed court proceedings until next Tuesday. Jackson's trial officially began January 31. He has pleaded "not guilty" to all charges, including seven counts of lewd and lascivious acts with a child under the age of 14 and two counts of administering an intoxicating agent to a child to commit the alleged molestation. He remains free on $3 million bail.

CLUB BOSS REVEALS DIRT ON THE STARS

A New York club boss JEFFREY JAH has been forced to publicly apologize to his star clients after revealing too much about their dirty deeds to a Brazilian magazine. Former male model Jah, who co-owns hip club Lotus, was more than candid when he spoke to Veja magazine during a recent trip to South America, and revealed all about how TOM CRUISE and NICOLE KIDMAN had a heated lover's spat where they both ended up leaving the club alone.

Jah also revealed he once sent a drunk JOAQUIN PHOENIX home, helped carry an intoxicated PARIS HILTON out of her own party and always had to make special arrangements for TOBEY MAGUIRE if Phoenix was out partying at the club -- because he refused to sit with him.

He also revealed how one night rappers JAY-Z and P. DIDDY nearly got into a physical altercation with one another. And that supermodel diva NAOMI CAMPBELL refuses to pay her bills.

After insisting the magazine misquoted him, Jah has now issued an apology at the request of his concerned partners.

He says, "I broke every rule in the book regarding the privacy of our valued clientele and for this I am incredibly sorry."
