Ashlee Falls For Fall Out Boy, Fiddy Vs. Diddy

MTV News reports that rapper 50 CENT was arrested in New York City for reckless driving in an uninsured silver Lamborghini. On Friday, when 50 was pulled over by an unmarked patrol car –- the former convicted drug dealer created a spectacle when he refused to get out, instead choosing to make a call on his cell phone.

"Eventually the cops opened the door... He just got out of the car and put his hands on the car and they put the cuffs on him," PARVESS, who videotaped the arrest, told Reuters news.

At the police station, 50 was not booked but was given four summonses: one for driving an unregistered vehicle, one for driving with an expired permit, one for driving without insurance and one for an unsafe lane change. He was released and is due to appear in court at a unspecified later date.

PARIS MAKES OUT WITH TRAVIS?

The British Sun newspaper reports that celebrity socialite PARIS HILTON was spotted “making out like crazy” with former Sum 41 drummer TRAVIS BARKER at Pure Night Club in Las Vegas.

A eyewitness told the newspaper, "Before long they were making out on one of the VIP beds. They were groping and grinding with their clothes on. All her friends and her sister NICKY were there looking stunned." The raunchy couple then gave the crowd even more of a show when they headed to strip club Spearmint Rhino in a limousine. "Their steamy show in their limo, near the rear VIP private entrance, was more sizzling than the lap dances inside. Guys were standing around watching."

But according to MSNBC, the blonde heiress is setting the record straight, claiming it was not Barker that she skanked out with -- but his friend.

"I did not make out with Travis Barker," Hilton said. "I was with his friend ALEX, who I met that night. It's nothing serious. He looks like Travis, he has tattoos all over his arms, and he has a mohawk. People must have seen us and confused him with Travis."

So has Hilton broken her vow of celibacy? The hotel heiress revealed 21 days ago that she'd had a bet with a group of friends, nicknamed the "single girls club", to see who could last the longest without sex. If the reports are true, it looks like she’ll be pulling out of that race soon.

HOLLYWOOD ENGAGEMENT RUMORS

Star Magazine reports that actress DENISE RICHARDS and rocker RICHIE SAMBORA are engaged. A close source to Richards -- who split from actor CHARLIE SHEEN a few months ago -- and Sambora -– who is divorcing Denise’s former best friend HEATHER LOCKLEAR –- is claiming that the pair are madly in love and hoping to make it legal before the end of this year.

The source claims, "Denise is head over heels in love with Richie. She says he's the perfect guy for her and that she's never so looked forward to the future."

However, Richards’ reps have denied the story.

In related news, Star Magazine is also claiming that actress ANGELINA JOLIE has finally agreed to marry BRAD PITT.

According to the tabloid magazine, Jolie relented on a warm L.A. night in mid-August. A source says, "Brad had been working hard on ‘Ocean's Thirteen’ and Angelina was missing him."

Over a late supper at their Hollywood Hills mansion, after their three kids (MADDOX, ZAHARA, and baby SHILOH) were sound asleep, "they had a heart-to-heart talk, and they realized something -- they can't live without each other!"

And it was during that moment that the 42-year-old Pitt decided to give it one last shot. "He [Pitt] said, as he'd said many times before, that he wanted to get married," the source says. "And much to his surprise and relief, this time Angelina agreed!"

CRIKEY, LET’S KEEP IT PRIVATE

According to USA Today, “Crocodile Hunter” STEVE IRWIN’s family turned down the Australian government’s offer for a state funeral, opting for a private funeral and public memorial service instead.

Irwin was killed last Sunday when a poisonous stringray barb stabbed him in the chest. The 44-year-old wildlife expert was filming a documentary in Australia’s Great Barrier Reef when the incident occurred.

According to the Daily Telegraph, the graphic footage of Irwin being fatally attacked by a 2.5 meter stingray has been handed to police.

Tributes have been pouring in for the world-famous animal lover, who leaves behind 42-year-old wife TERRI, and their two children -- eight-year-old daughter BINDI and son BOB, two.

Australian Prime Minister JOHN HOWARD interrupted parliament on Monday to pay his respects.

He said, "He was a genuine, one-off remarkable Australian individual and I am distressed at his death."

Even fellow Aussie, actor RUSSELL CROWE described Irwin as the "ultimate wildlife warrior". He added, "He was the Australian we all aspire to. He touched my heart."

LOHAN ROBBED? MAYBE NOT

TMZ reports that actress LINDSAY LOHAN was the victim of a major theft on Thursday at London’s Heathrow Airport, when one of her bags was stolen off of her luggage trolley. The missing orange Hermes bag is said to have contained upwards of one million dollars in jewelry.

Lohan's rep says, “She is begging for the return of the items. She doesn't care how she gets them back, she just wants her stuff back."

The bag also contained some of Lohan’s much needed asthma medication.

After the reported theft, Lohan was photographed sobbing uncontrollably as new boyfriend HARRY MORTON tried to console her. But cry no more, the very next morning, Scotland Yard announced that the bag was found -- however there's no word yet if any items were taken.

Police officials announced, "A member of the public contacted us to say they had found it and brought it in. We have not yet established what, if anything, is missing."

MAYER DUMPS SIMPSON – AND TALKS ABOUT WOMEN AND SEX

The New York Posts reports that singer JOHN MAYER dumped pop star JESSICA SIMPSON because she couldn’t keep her mouth shut about their relationship.

Last week, Us Weekly and People Magazine proclaimed the pair were dating with quotes from a Simpson pal saying they were "in love."

After the news about their relationship broke, Mayer reportedly kicked Simpson to the curb, because insiders say, she and her pals were too loose-lipped for the reclusive Mayer. One person in the Mayer camp told Us Weekly the relationship "was a 2 [that] her camp spun into an 11... [Mayer] thinks it's desperate... an attempt to stay in the spotlight."

PARIS BUSTED FOR DUI

CNN reports that celebrity socialite PARIS HILTON was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence Thursday morning after "driving erratically" and failing a field sobriety test.

Hilton was pulled over in her Mercedes-Benz at about 12:30 a.m. in Hollywood for driving erratically. "She exhibited the symptoms of intoxication," an LAPD spokesman said while reading from a written statement.

A Breathalyzer was administered and showed her blood alcohol level to be 0.08 -- the minimum required for a DUI arrest in California. She was then handcuffed and taken to the Hollywood police station, where she was booked. Police report that Hilton's passenger in the car, reportedly ROD STEWART's daughter KIMBERLY, "also appeared to be intoxicated, so the Mercedes was impounded."

Hilton was released shortly after the incident and is scheduled to appear in court at the end of the month – when she will learn if she will be formally charged.

Later that day, Hilton tried to downplay the incident on RYAN SEACREST’s morning radio show. The 25-year-old heiress claimed that everything was blown out of proportion and that she’d been merely “speeding a little bit” to an In-N-Out Burger after leaving a charity even where she’d claims to have had only one margarita.

Although, Hilton dismisses her DUI arrest that morning "was nothing," her rep have come to the rescue and insists she's taking it seriously.

"She regrets what happened," Hilton's publicist, ELLIOTT MINTZ, tells the New York Daily News. "She did not take this matter lightly or frivolously. She had never been arrested before, and it was clearly humiliating and disorienting."

FIDDY VS. DIDDY

MTV News reports that gangsta rapper 50 CENT is starting a beef with hip-hip mogul SEAN ‘DIDDY’ COMBS by releasing a battle track called, “The Bomb”.

In the track, 50 –- real name CURTIS JACKSON -- accuses his new rival of knowing the identity of BIGGIE SMALLS' murderer.

XXL rap magazine reports that the feud started over the fact that Diddy made it difficult to sign rapper MASE to 50’s G-Unit record label.

In the past Diddy’s stayed away from rap beef. When publically dissed, the rap producer never said anything on record about his rivals, including SUGE KNIGHT, TUPAC and THE LOX. But this time, Diddy reportedly responded with a song titled, "I'm Richer, Bitch!".

ASHLEE FALLS FOR FALL OUT BOY

Us Weekly reports that pop singer ASHLEE SIMPSON and her band mate boyfriend BRAXTON OLITA have decided to take a break. Her rep confirmed with the magazine that the two broke up about a week ago, which explains why Ms. Simpson has been spotted getting cozy with Fall Out Boy's bassist PETE WENTZ.

Radar Online reports that Simpson and Wentz were all over each other at MisShape’s dance party on Saturday -- except at the end of the night when Simpson had to rush to the bathroom to puke.

The website claims, “Ashlee was accompanied by Fall Out Boy bassist Pete Wentz, whom she proceeded to straddle, according to a fellow reveler. Partying with an actual rock star apparently proved too much for young Ashlee, who had to excuse herself to vomit. Management kindly blocked off the bathroom to let her retch in peace...”

Simpson also sported her new arm candy at Don Hill's last weekend. Simpson reportedly told friends that she's over Braxton and that Wentz dumped girlfriend actress MICHELLE TRACHTENBERG so that he could be with her.

GIBSON’S SON WAS BUSTED FOR DUI

Like son, like father… according to the New York Daily News, actor MEL GIBSON’s son CHRISTIAN was busted for drunk driving while at college last year and spent five hours in jail.

Christian, one of seven children of Mel and his wife, ROBYN, was a student at the University of Colorado when he was pulled over by a cop in Boulder.

According to police reports, the younger Gibson was spotted February 7, 2005, at 1:55 a.m. making an illegal turn in his Chevy Blazer.

The officer said a strong smell of alcohol came from the SUV, which was also carrying four passengers.

“I saw [Christian] Gibson had red, watery eyes and slow, slurred speech,” the officer said in his report. “I asked Gibson to step out of the vehicle and walk on the sidewalk.”

The cop said that Christian -- a 24-year-old aspiring actor -- offered to perform “voluntary roadside maneuvers,” including placing a finger to his nose and walking a straight line.

Allegedly failing to impress officers, Gibson was promptly arrested. When cops searched his Blazer, they also found several shotgun casings -- which Gibson said were left from a “hunting vacation.”

Gibson spent five hours in the Boulder County Jail and later underwent residential substance abuse treatment at the expensive Cirque Lodge in Utah.

BLOOM AND BOSWORTH BREAK UP AGAIN

Entertainment Tonight reports that ‘Pirates’ of the Caribbean’ star ORLANDO BLOOM and ‘Superman Returns’ beauty KATE BOSWORTH have decided to call it quits.

The couple had been reportedly dating on-and-off for nearly four years, but a close source tells ET that they have decided to go their separate ways.

The couple's rep could not be reached for comment.

Bloom is currently on location in California shooting 'Pirates of the Caribbean: At Worlds End.' While SkyNews reports that Bosworth is rumored to be starring in her own ‘Lois Lane’ movie, despite the fact that ‘Superman Returns’ was a disappointing box office flop.
