Jackson’s Dermatologist Denies Feeding Drug Habit

Michael Jackson's longtime dermatologist has blasted reports he supplied the late King of Pop with powerful prescription drugs, insisting he attempted to wean the singer off his alleged addiction.

Jackson suffered a cardiac arrest on 25 June.

Rumors have swirled about the circumstances leading up to his sudden passing, with reports suggesting he had a prolonged addiction to prescription painkillers.

Los Angeles police investigating the Thriller superstar's passing have recruited the help of the Drug Enforcement Agency (Dea) after discovering a number of pill bottles in his rented Holmby Hills, Hollywood mansion.

Several doctors who were known to have treated Jackson as a patient have also been questioned by cops over allegations they abused their power to write fake prescriptions for the late star - but Dr Arnold Klein insists he was not one of the "criminals" who enabled Jackson's alleged habit.

Klein says, "I was not one of the doctors who participated in giving him overdoses of drugs or too much of anything." "In fact, I was the one who limited everything, who stopped everything". The medic claims he warned Jackson about the dangers of strong drugs like Dilaudid and Propofol, branding them "poison".
