Lindsay LohanCelebrity gossip site TMZ reports that troubled actress LINDSAY LOHAN has struck a deal to escape felony cocaine charges by pleading no contest to two counts of DUI. If a felony charges had been filed by the prosecutors, Lohan could have faced several years in state prison. But instead, she was ordered to serve 10 days community service and just one day in jail.
The ‘Mean Girls’ star also pleaded guilty to two misdemeanor counts of possession of cocaine, transporting a narcotic into a custodial facility, driving on a suspended license, drinking underage and fleeing the scene of an accident. The judge also ordered the 21-year-old starlet to serve 36 months probation and attend an alcohol education program for 18 months, as well as enroll in a drug program and "not to associate with people with controlled substances."
After the plea deal on Thursday, Lohan issued the following statement: "It is clear to me that my life has become completely unmanageable because I am addicted to alcohol and drugs.
Recently, I relapsed and did things for which I am ashamed. I broke the law, and today I took responsibility by pleading guilty to the charges in my case. No matter what I said when I was under the influence on the day I was arrested, I am not blaming anyone else for my conduct other than myself. I thank God I did not injure others. I easily could have.
I very much want to be healthy and gain control of my life and career and have asked for medical help in doing so. I am taking these steps to improve my life. Luckily, I am not alone in my daily struggle and I know that people like me have succeeded. Maybe with time it will become easier. I hope so."
Lohan is currently still completing her rehab program in Utah.
In related news, In Touch Weekly reports that Lindsay’s younger sister ALI LOHAN is taking over the family hell-raising! According to reports, the 13-year-old little Lohan was involved in a car accident last Friday.
"Ali had snuck out of the house to be with her friend, a 16-year-old boy who has a learner's permit. He had taken the car without his mother's permission. Luckily, she was not hurt" an insider tells In Touch. "Luckily, she was not hurt."
However, TMZ spoke with Lohan's rep, who denied the whole story, saying, "I just got off the phone with Ali. She was never in the car!" We're told Ali knows the boy from school -- but that's it.
NICOLE IS FREE AND ENGAGED

People Magazine reports that celebrity socialite NICOLE RICHIE is a free woman after spending only 82 minutes in jail.
If you recall, last December, Nicole – daughter of pop legend LIONEL RICHIE - was arrested after driving the wrong way down the Burbank Freeway. When the police found her, she was parked on the freeway, chatting on her cell phone. When questioned, Richie admitted to sheriffs that she had been smoking marijuana and was high on Vicodin. However, that wasn’t her first DUI offense. Back in 2002, she was arrested for driving 50 miles per hour in a 15 mph zone near UCLA. She had a .13 blood alcohol level, which is almost twice the legal limit in California. Six months later, she was convicted for possession of heroin and driving on a suspended license.
Richie was sentenced to four days in jail for driving under the influence of drugs. But when Richie tried to turn herself in last Thursday, the 25-year-old ‘Simple Life’ star was released just 82 minutes later by the L.A. sheriff’s department -- due to overcrowding in their holding facilities. Richie reportedly only spent 35 minutes in her assigned private cell. The sheriff’s office claims that Richie was not given special celebrity treatment, and that it was standard procedure to release inmates if the facility was overcrowded.
According to People, “Richie entered the jail in Lynwood, Calif., at 3:15 p.m. for booking, listed at 5'1" and 105 lbs. She was processed into the system and released at 4:37 p.m.”
In related news, People is also reporting that Richie and boyfriend JOEL MADDEN are engaged. A local radio DJ announced the happy news after the ‘Good Charlotte’ singer performed with his band at the Hot 99.5 show in Virginia last Friday.
The Hot 99.5 morning show host came onto the stage following the acoustic performance and shouted to the crowd, "He got engaged yesterday. Congratulations, Joel!"
The couple are also expecting their first child together –- as Nicole is believed to be 5 months pregnant already.
FOXY GOES TO JAIL

People Magazine reports that rap diva FOXY BROWN was sent to jail on Thursday for violating her probation. According to the tabloid magazine, “Last week, Brown surrendered to police on charges that she assaulted her Brooklyn neighbor with her BlackBerry device. Then, just one day after her surrender, police in Mahwah, N.J., pulled the rapper over after she was spotted talking on her cell phone while driving her 2007 Land Rover. Officers cited her for talking on the phone and failing to stop at a stop sign. In addition, Brown gave police officers a false birth date and a variation of her name. Forced to admit her real identity, police reportedly learned that the musician was driving with a suspended license. Her Land Rover's registration also had been suspended.”
A Manhattan Judge ordered Brown to prison to serve time until her next court hearing on Sept. 7, effective immediately. Brown is reportedly being housed at the Rose M. Singer Center, a women’s jail on Rikers Island.
So what does a girl do when she’s in this much hot water? She pulls a NICOLE RICHIE act and announces that’s she’s pregnant!
Despite all of her legal troubles, the 29-year-old Brown announced that she's having a baby. The New York Post reports that Brown was spotted shopping at a New York City Bed, Bath & Beyond, where she said, “I'm getting married in September. I'm pregnant.”
JENNA HANGS UP HER BOOBIES

In a topic not related to jail, Us Weekly reports that porn starlet JENNA JAMESON is retiring from making adult videos. Jameson -- who is widely referred to as ‘The Queen Of Porn’ and has appeared in over 200 XXX-flicks -- also decided to have her breast implants removed, and recently she sat down with Us to discuss the big changes in her life.
Here are some excerpts from the interview:
On why she removed her implants:
“When I had implants, I felt uncomfortable. I would be shy at the beach. I know it sounds funny, but I’d wear high-necked clothes – unless I was at an adult-film convention. So I thought, Why don’t I be who I am and get my real ones back?”
On how removing the implants changed her:
“Even for women with naturally large boobs, getting a reduction is so freeing. I feel like I can stand up straighter…before, when I jogged, I had to hold my boobs. I looked like I was molesting myself!”
On how she felt after the surgery:
“Ecstatic. The first thing I did when I got home was open my bra. I wasn’t supposed to but I did. I was so happy, I cried. It was like looking into the mirror when I was 17.”
On whether she’s done with porn forever:
“Yes. A hundred percent.”
On who will play her in a movie about her life:
“I would love SCARLETT JOHANSSON to play me. I think RACHEL McADAMS is amazing, and SIENNA MILLER.”
On celebrating her one-year anniversary with boyfriend TITO ORTIZ: “I had my surgery while he was in Iraq on a USO tour. He was so excited: ‘I’m coming home to brand new boobies.’”
The 33-year-old Jameson will continue to run her ClubJenna online empire, but the blonde bombshell wants to focus on other new projects, like a Hollywood biopic, a comic book series and a clothing line, due out next year.
