JLO Gets Death Threats, Depp To Marry?

People Magazine reports that just days after celebrity socialite PARIS HILTON was sentenced to a 45-day prison term for driving with a suspended license, the soon-to-be jail bird was spotted cruising around in her $200,000 blue Bentley convertible.

The 26-year-old blonde heiress was given the sentence for breaking the terms of her probation in an alcohol-related reckless driving case.

Meanwhile, last Monday, Hilton launched an appeal against her sentence and tried to rally all of her fans to sign a petition, in order for her to receive a special pardon from California Governor ARNOLD SCHWARZENEGGER.

Hilton writes on her MySpace page (in her own bad spelling), “I urge all fans and supporters and all that are outraged by injustice to sign this petition. My friend Joshua started this petition, please help and sihn it. i LOVE YOU ALL!!!!!”

The online petition was reportedly laughed at by the Governor’s office.

With very little options left, Hilton announced on Wednesday that she’s prepared to face the consequences of her actions.

According to the British Metro, Hilton said in a written statement, “I do not expect to be treated better than anyone else who violated probation. However, my hope is that I will not be treated worse. I feel the need to correct what I believe are misperceptions about me. I absolutely realize how serious driving under the influence is. I could not live with myself if anyone was injured or killed while I was driving while impaired. Clearly, no one should - no matter how slightly."

The News of the World newspaper published several video stills of actress LINDSAY LOHAN allegedly using cocaine. The video was reportedly taken just 20 days after Lohan left rehab.

According to media reports, the video was secretly taped by a close friend, who says she’s releasing the footage because she’s concerned about Lohan’s out-of-control drug habit.

The video reportedly shows the ‘Mean Girls’ star snorting cocaine while in the bathroom at a nightclub with several of her girlfriends.

However, according to an inside source, the 21-year-old Lohan isn’t just addicted to the white powder, she is also hooked on sex with some of Hollywood's hottest men.

"She [Lohan] has told me that she has slept with JAMES BLUNT, JUDE LAW, CALUM BEST, JOAQUIN PHOENIX, BENICIO DEL TORO, JARED LETO and JAMES FRANCO. Lindsay told me she has messed around with LEONARDO DiCAPRIO a while ago too but claimed that she didn’t sleep with him.”

Her so-called ‘friend’ also told the newspaper that, “Going to rehab was all for publicity. She[Lohan] wanted people to see her seeking help but it hasn't got her off the drugs at all.”

JLO GETS DEATH THREATS

The New York Daily News is reporting that Latin diva JENNIFER LOPEZ has been receiving a series of death threats from animal-rights activists.

An inside source tells the newspaper that a crazy animal protection extremist has vowed "to kill her [Lopez] in public, just like the slaughtered animals whose fur she wears."

Over the last few years, Lopez –- who publicly wears fur and even uses it in her own clothing line –- has become the prime target of many anti-fur groups including PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals). And it has Lopez' husband, Latin crooner MARC ANTHONY, extremely concerned for her safety. Anthony has reportedly taken the threats so seriously that he beefed up security all around her wherever she goes out.

According to the Daily News, “The source says J.Lo initially dismissed the notes, which have been arriving for a month, as lunatic junk mail. But husband Marc Anthony isn't taking the matter lightly. He has hired two off-duty police officers, in addition to her usual security team, to watch over Lopez whenever she makes public appearances.”

However, a PETA spokesperson responded by saying, “All violence is wrong. But J.Lo needs to stop the real violence she promotes and subsidizes rather than give herself extra protection she doesn't need.”

AKON APOLOGIZES

New Musical Express Magazine reports that R&B sensation AKON has apologized for his inappropriate conduct during one of his concert. The incident occurred last month in Trinidad, when Akon brought a 14-year-old girl on stage and performed several explicit sexual motions on her... in other words… he dry-humped her in front of the crowd. To make matters worse, the young girl also turned out to be the daughter of a preacher.

The 34-year-old singer released a statement saying he was sorry, but that he also was unaware of the girl’s age. He said, "I want to sincerely apologize for the embarrassment and any pain I've caused to the young woman who joined me on stage, her family and the Trinidad community for the events at my concert. It was never my intention to embarrass or take advantage of my fans in any way, especially those under the age of 18. That is why we tried to make sure that the club did not admit anyone under 18 in the audience. Somehow, that standard was not met."

After the incident, Verizon showed their disapproval by immediately pulling themselves out as sponsors for singer GWEN STEFANI's world tour – where Akon was her opening act.

DEPP TO MARRY?

The British Daily Mail newspaper is reporting that after eight years and two children together, actor JOHNNY DEPP and French singer VANESSA PARADIS are finally planning on getting married.

Close sources say that the couple have contemplated marriage before, but after their 7-year-old daughter, LILY-ROSE, had a life-threatening ordeal last month in which she was successfully treated for E.Coli poisoning at a London hospital -- the pair have been inspired to make their union official.

The 43-year-old ‘Pirates of the Caribbean’ star and the 34-year-old Paradis are reportedly looking to tie the knot in the French village of Plan de la Tour sometime this summer.
