Lindsay Admits To Disorder & Drugs, Obie Trice Shot

Reuters News reports that teen drama queen LINDSAY LOHAN has admitted to using drugs and suffering from bulimia in a recent interview with Vanity Fair magazine.

The 19-year-old star blames her troubles on her destructive relationship with her estranged father, MICHAEL LOHAN, the stress of life in Hollywood and her traumatic split from first love WILMER VALDERRAMA.

Lohan claims her bulimia became so serious, those close to her warned her she would die unless she sought help.

She says, "I was making myself sick. I was sick. I had people sit me down and say, 'You're going to die if you don't take care of yourself."

Reality set in for Lohan after an appearance on NBC's "Saturday Night Live" last May, when producer LORNE MICHAELS confronted her.

She says, "I just started bawling. I knew I had a problem, and I couldn't admit it. I saw that 'SNL' after I did it. My arms were disgusting. I had no arms."

Lohan doesn't reveal details about her drug use, confessing only to trying "a little" but insists, "I've gotten that out of my system."

But she confesses to becoming a shopaholic to ease her pain -- once spending $100,000 in one day.

In related news, Entertainment Tonight reported that Lohan checked into the hospital after suffering a massive asthma attack on Monday.

The ‘Mean Girls’ star -- who has been plagued with bad health and exhaustion in the last year -- was admitted to a local Miami hospital after flying there to celebrate New Year's Eve with her mother at the fashionable club Prive.

Medics advised the star to stay in the hospital for a few days after discovering the attack had broken a blood vessel in her neck.

According to her publicist, Lohan remains hospitalized and under observation, but is expected to make a full recovery and ready to work in two weeks.

PARIS ADMITS TO LYING

According to Reuters News, celebrity socialite PARIS HILTON has reportedly admitted to fabricating a story about the former girlfriend of her ex-fiance PARIS LATSIS.

Model/actress/producer ZETA GRAFF -- who claimed the hotel heiress made defamatory statements about her -- filed a $10 million lawsuit last summer, alleging Hilton made up stories about Graff's jealous and criminal behavior and supplied them to the New York Post newspaper.

An inside source tells the publication, "Hilton made a deposition in the slander lawsuit, and admitted she planted a false story in the press in which she claimed Graff attacked her in a London nightclub.

In a statement, Graff says, "Hilton will learn a valuable lesson about what happens when you try to ruin another person's reputation. She made a number of false statements about me, and she repeatedly lied under oath during her recent deposition. I look forward to her explaining all of this to a jury."

Hilton's publicist says, "In view of the fact that it's an ongoing matter, I'm not in a position to make any comment."

DENISE AND CHARLIE CONTINUE WITH DIVORCE

The Associated Press reports that actors CHARLIE SHEEN and DENISE RICHARDS are following through with their divorce.

"They asked the court to go to a private arbitrator. They want to keep it private," Sheen’s publicist announced on Wednesday. He would not comment further, while Richards' publicist could not be reached for comment.

The papers, filed in Los Angeles Superior Court, requested that the case be taken out of court and assigned to retired commissioner JILL S. ROBBINS.

The two were married in June 2002. They met while shooting the independent film "Good Advice" in 2000 and appeared together in 2003's "Scary Movie 3."

Richards filed for divorce last March after three years of marriage. The relationship appeared to dissolve in the public eye just months before Richards gave birth to their second child, LOLA. Just months later, the couple seemed to have reconciled. In November, Sheen flashed his wedding ring on CBS' "Late Late Show," telling host CRAIG FERGUSON "things are really good."

They’re on, they’re off, and apparently now, they’re official off again.

ANGIE TELLS JENN ABOUT HER PREGNANCY

According to In Touch Weekly Magazine, Hollywood star BRAD PITT and his ex-wife JENNIFER ANISTON remain good friends and have been frequently talking on the phone in recent weeks.

So it wasn't all that surprising when, just a few days before Christmas, Aniston decided to pick up the phone and send her ex a holiday greeting.

According to the publication, Aniston called Pitt’s cell phone, but she got the shock of her life when his new lover ANGELINA JOLIE answered the line. Aniston reportedly maintained her cool as she greeted Jolie and the two women had a brief conversation for the first time since the divorce.

But it gets juicer, Fox News reports that Jolie was initially startled but wanted to clear the air which led Jolie to eventually call Aniston back to tell her she was pregnant with Pitt's child.

According to reports, the conversation was a tearful one. These rumors sound too scandalous to be true. What was actually said only they, and perhaps Pitt, will ever know.

‘AMERICAN PIE’ STAR WINS POKER TOURNAMENT

Actress SHANNON ELIZABETH celebrated the New Year in style after becoming the first big winner at Las Vegas casino Caesars Palace's new poker room.

The "American Pie" star beat out 83 poker professionals and other celebrities like actress JENNIFER TILLY and singer LANCE BASS to win more than $54,000 at the tables before hosting nightclub Tangerine Lounge's New Year's Eve party.

The 32-year-old actress then rang in the New Year with DJ GRAND MASTER FLASH, who was celebrating a birthday.

Elizabeth also played in the 2005 World Series of Poker main event, but was eliminated on the second day of competitions.

ENRIQUE SINGS FOR DICTATOR’S SONS

MISCHA’S JEALOUS BOYFRIEND

The New York Post is reporting that actress MISCHA BARTON is on the verge of splitting from her rocker boyfriend CISCO ADLER because of his possessive behavior.

The odd couple -- who were reported to have got engaged last November -- had a huge spat on New Year's Eve after Adler became jealous of Barton spending too much time with her friends.

Adler's band, Whitestarr, had played at Miami's exclusive Victor Hotel that night and after the concert 'The OC' star invited a host of male friends to join the couple for a party, sparking a jealous argument between the pair.

A source tells the newspaper, "Cisco was very angry that Mischa wanted to hang out with some of her other friends, and not exclusively with him.

"There was a lot of slamming doors, stomping around and swearing at their bungalow at the hotel."

Mischa, 19, started dating the 26-year-old musician in August last year, two months after she ended her one-year relationship with oil heir BRANDON DAVIS.

KATE’S NEW BOY TOY

According to the British Daily Mirror newspaper, supermodel KATE MOSS has found a new love –- after being photographed kissing and cuddling a mystery man on a skiing trip last week.

The 31-year-old catwalk beauty was spotted with a 20-year-old Englishman JAMES BURKE, in the trendy ski resort of Aspen.

A source tells the newspaper, "They got on to a chairlift together and she kissed his cheek and then nuzzled into his ski jacket. They have also been spotted kissing in bars."

Another insider told the Daily Mirror, "Kate finds Jamie very sexy. He has that rock 'n' roll look she loves. She has a bit of a complex about dating someone so much younger, but it also makes her feel good that she can attract him."

Last month, Moss left Britain after a newspaper printed photographs of her snorting cocaine and has since beat her addiction to the drug. Moss then split with ex-boyfriend PETE DOHERTY when he walked out of rehab last year.

In related news, Doherty plans to remove his Moss love tattoo. The hell-raising British rocker has vowed to remove the last reminder of ex-girlfriend Kate Moss by having his heart-shaped tattoo lasered off.

The Babyshambles frontman is reportedly "seriously stressed" by recent photographs depicting his ex-lover embracing new beau James Burke, and will get his revenge by removing a tattoo bearing the letter "K" from his left arm.

A source tells the British newspaper the Daily Star, "There was so much love there on his side and now he is pissed off that she seems to have moved forward with her personal life so quickly."

RAPPER EAZY-SWAYZE?

According to rap industry website AllHipHop.com, actor PATRICK SWAYZE is planning to record a hip-hop track and could release it later this year.

The 'Dirty Dancing' star reportedly told the website that’s he is working on a track that will show that "rap rhythms are an emotional undercurrent for ballads."

It is not the first time the 53-year-old actor has displayed his singing talents.

In 1987, Swayze had a worldwide with 'She's Like the Wind' -- a duet with singer WENDY FRASER. Swayze had already starred in rapper JA RULE’s video for "Reign".

BEN PAYS WITH KISSES

According to In Touch Weekly, actor BEN AFFLECK had to sell off his lips when he realized he'd raced out for diapers without his wallet.

Just before Christmas, the ‘Daredevil’ star was caught short at the cash desk of a late night convenience store and had to ask fellow shoppers to help him out.

According to bystanders, desperate Affleck refused to sell his beloved Boston Red Sox baseball cap and instead settled on kissing a fan, who offered to pay for the diapers. According to sources, proud daddy Affleck told the giggling store clerk, "I've got to come back with these or my wife (‘Alias’ star JENNIFER GARNER) will kill me."

Garner gave birth to the couple’s first child, VIOLET, on December 1.

SEACREST IS LOADED

Gold-diggers pay attention, USA Today reports that American Idol host RYAN SEACREST has signed a $21 million deal with E! Networks.

The E! cable network deal includes Seacrest hosting the Golden Globe Awards, and developing, producing and hosting a variety of shows as well as act as managing editor of E! News. In March, he will become the lead anchor of the new show. The deal is also only for three years.

Seacrest –- who turned 31 on Christmas Eve -- will also continue to collect from the smash hit American Idol series, his radio show, his clothing line, and other various things he does like fill in for CNN host LARRY KING.

OBIE TRICE SHOT

AllHipHop.com reports that rapper OBIE TRICE -- a Detroit native and protégé of EMINEM -- was shot early Saturday morning while driving on the freeway.

Trice's vehicle was shot at by someone in another car, said Michigan State Police Sgt. MARIO GONZALES.

"He got shot in the head," Trice's manager told the website. "He was driving his Range Rover on the Lodge Freeway, after leaving a Mike Epps after party."

Trice managed to continue driving and exited the freeway in the suburb of Southfield, where his girlfriend, who also was in the vehicle, flagged down police, Gonzales said.

BRAXTON TO ALMOST BARE ALL

According to Contact Music, R&B singer TONI BRAXTON -- who still looks unbelievably stunning at 37 -- is in negotiations to appear naked in Playboy Magazine.

But, and there’s a big ‘but’, Braxton will only agree to pose as long as she would only have to show her breasts and ass.

TOM AND KATE PUT WEDDING ON HOLD

MSNBC reports that Hollywood stars TOM CRUISE and KATIE HOLMES have put their wedding plans on hold, after having a rough holidays spent at Holmes' family home.

With a new year beginning, Cruise decided to take the opportunity to mend fences with the family of his fiancée, Katie Holmes, according to the upcoming issue of Life & Style Weekly.

Unfortunately, things didn’t go as they intended and the couple ended up leaving -- three days earlier than planned, according to a close pal of Cruise.

Holmes was in tears, but that's standard when it comes to dealing with family matters and Cruise. A spokesman for Cruise denies the story, but there have been previous reports that Holmes' lawyer father is not thrilled with the prospects of the two getting hitched. 'My honest opinion is that the wedding's not going to happen,' a friend of the couple told the publication. 'Neither one of them seems as enthusiastic as they once did about marriage.'"

DURST AND STAPP GET ENGAGED

Rockers FRED DURST and SCOTT STAPP have started the New Year by announcing their engagement news –- but not to each other.

Durst -- the Limp Bizkit frontman -- is set to try marriage for a second time after proposing to his girlfriend, LEYLA BEARMAN, last week.

The rocker previously wed RACHEL TERGESON in 1990 with the marriage ending in divorce a few years later.

The singer has two children -- daughter ADRIANA from his marriage to Tergesen, and a son DALLAS, 4, from his relationship with Jennifer Thayer.

And the Associated Press reports that Stapp -- the former lead singer of Creed – plans to wed model JACLYN NESHEIWAT on February 10 in Florida.

Stapp and the former Miss USA (New York) met last January at a gala for the Muscular Dystrophy Association in New York.

The 32-year-old Stapp founded the rock band Creed and won a Grammy Award in 2000 for the song "With Arms Wide Open." He struck out on his own last year with the solo album, "The Great Divide."

Nesheiwat is the director of public affairs for the Scott Stapp Foundation, which promotes healthy parent-child relationships.

The Quigley Poll, which has been conducted every year since 1932, is an annual survey of motion picture exhibitors, which asks them to vote for the 10 stars that generated the most box office revenue in the preceding year for their cinemas.

‘Pirates of the Caribbean’ star JOHNNY DEPP comes in at number two on the 74th annual list, ahead of Hollywood power couple ANGELINA JOLIE and BRAD PITT. ‘Wedding Crashers’ star VINCE VAUGHN surprisingly came in at number 5.

Moving on to some bling, luxury car company Mercedes-Benz was the most mentioned brand in 2005's biggest rap hits -- according to Agenda Inc.’s annual American Brandstand survey.

In the survey, the San Francisco-based marketing firm tallied which products were most name-dropped in the 106 songs that reached the Billboard Top 20 this year.

Auto brands dominated the Top 10, with Bentley, Rolls Royce and Cadillac also among the most-mentioned.

Rapper 50 CENT was the most brand-dropping rapper of the year, with 17 product mentions in 7 songs, referencing brands like Bentley, Cristal, Lamborghini, Mercedes and Nike.
