Lindsay's Bad Week, Dine At Daisy Dukes

Yahoo News reports that actor LOU DIAMOND PHILLIPS was charged on Thursday with domestic battery and could face the maximum sentence of one year in jail with a $2,000 fine.

The charges stem from an incident last month in which the ‘La Bamba’ star got into a heated argument with his live-in girlfriend that turned into a physical fight.

According to police reports, the fight ended up with the girlfriend "pushed and dragged across the house resulting in scrapes to both knees.”

A police spokesperson also claims that the girlfriend grabbed a phone, locked herself in a bathroom and dialed 9-1-1. The 44-year-old actor was arrested and held for about 10 hours before being released.

His arraignment was scheduled for October 18.

JANET REGRETS APOLOGIZING FOR HER ‘WARDROBE MALFUNCTION’

The TMZ website is reporting that in an interview for 'The Oprah Winfrey Show', pop star JANET JACKSON says she now regrets apologizing for her Super Bowl breast flash -- because it made her look guilty for something that was an accident.

The ‘Nasty Girls’ singer also hinted things between herself and her partner in the ‘Nipplegate’ wardrobe malfunction, JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE, still haven't been smoothed over.

During the interview, Jackson admits that she hasn't spoken to the former *NSync star since the February 1, 2004 performance, and said "Loyalty comes first to me" when asked if she felt betrayed.

TARA REID GETS MORE PLASTIC SURGERY

According to the new issue of In Touch Weekly, actress TARA REID checked into a Beverly Hills clinic on September 7 to have her first set of implants replaced with smaller ones.

The blonde actress had repeatedly denied going under the knife, despite constant rumors suggesting she had boosted her bust size. However, last year Reid finally admitted having her chest surgically enhanced. She said at the time, "Everyone does it. I don't know why I'm the one who gets so much attention?"

According to the magazine, the ‘American Pie’ star also had some other cosmetic surgery carried out on her stomach to remove some unsightly scars caused by bad liposuction procedure. The notorious party girl has since been recuperating at home.

Looks like JOE SIMPSON’S cashing in on his daughter’s fame again –- this time with a restaurant chain?

According to Life & Style Weekly, pop singer JESSICA SIMPSON’s manager/dad is hoping to hook up with Caesars Palace in Las Vegas to open the first in a series of ‘Hooters-style’ barbecue restaurants called ‘Daisy Dukes’ -- named after his daughter’s scantily-clad character in ‘The Dukes of Hazzard’ movie.

The 26-year-old star’s reps are denying the story, but the tabloid magazine claims that’s because her dad is making the plans without her knowledge.

“Joe’s going to make a lot of money from this,” a source told the mag, “and he didn’t even ask Jessica!”

The multi-chain eatery is slated to open in Las Vegas' Caesar's Palace next year, and Jessica will reportedly commit to make at least five appearances at the venue each year.

PARIS ADMITS SHE’S AN IDIOT

We’re not the only ones who think PARIS HILTON is stupid -- apparently she thinks so, too.

Dateline NBC revealed footage of LAPD detectives interviewing the blonde hotel heiress in regards to the home-invasion robbery of “Girls Gone Wild” producer JOE FRANCIS.

Francis passed on Paris' information to cops, who eventually busted convict DARNELL RILEY. LAPD investigators were asking Hilton to recall what she told Francis at a party shortly after he was victimized on January 24, 2004, but the absent-minded heiress didn't remember much.

In the tapes she says, "Like I really… I don't remember. I'm not like that smart. I like forget stuff all the time.”

Hilton also told cops that "private tapes" were stolen from her home - and that a mysterious caller wanted money for their return.

"They... wanted money. They were tryin' to sell it to like a newspaper or something," said Hilton, who refused to pay up - and followed the advice from her dear old Dad.

"So if you pay somebody, then you're gonna be paying for the rest of your life," Hilton said. "My dad always taught me. They'll keep the tape anyway."

In related news, Paris was extorted by a homeless man. TMZ reports that the celebrity socialite gave a pan-handler money after coming out of a McDonalds drive-thru.

"You Paris Hilton! Can I get a hundred dollars?" the homeless man asked her.

Before Paris could answer, then man came down quite a bit, asking "how 'bout a dollar?" But Paris took note of the first request and handed the lucky man a crumpled $100 bill.

She then posed with the ragged hobo and remained polite, even when he asked about "LIONEL RICHIE's daughter", a reference to Paris' trouble relationship with former best friend NICOLE RICHIE.

DMX WAS RAPED?

Sister 2 Sister magazine reports that rapper DMX was raped by his “baby momma” while still married to wife TASHERA SIMMONS.

When openly talking about recently fathering a child with a woman from Washington, D.C., DMX says tells the October issue of the magazine, “She raped me. I mean, you know, that might sound like some bullshit. No man has ever been… you know what I mean, like never? Is that the only thing in the world that’s not possible?”

DMX gives this advice to other male rape victims, “Turn on the light before I go to sleep!”

The bizarre thing is that DMX’s wife believes his rape claims and stands by her man.

According to the Irish Daily Mirror, pop king MICHAEL JACKSON is planning to open an amusement park with a leprechaun-inspired theme.

The troubled pop star -- who hasn't lived in the United States since his acquittal on sexual molestation charges -- has been staying in Ireland lately and has been looking into purchasing an estate on the Emerald Isle to start his new amusement park project.

"Michael is deadly serious about this idea. He loves the whole idea of leprechauns and the magic and myths of Ireland. It would cost around 500 million Euros [about $635 million] to do. He’s always wanted to open his own theme park and he thinks Ireland is the perfect place and it will all be built around the leprechaun theme."

The strapped-for-cash star reportedly set up meetings with several businessmen to raise money for the theme park. There are recurring sightings of the reclusive singer in Ireland, and one newspaper there has set up a Wacko Watch Hotline for people to phone in sightings.

RUPERT CHOOSES HAIR OVER SPERM

Openly gay actor, RUPERT EVERETT, has admitted that he currently is shooting blanks due to being on alopecia medication to correct his baldness.

The British actor tells London's Daily Telegraph, "I don't have any sperm left. If I stop taking the pills, all my hair will fall out, but I would rather have hair than sperm."

Everett is currently promoting his autobiography, "Red Carpet and Other Banana Skins," in which he makes gives shocking insights on some of Hollywood's biggest stars. In the book, the gay actor even admitted to having a heterosexual affair with actress SUSAN SARANDON.

MELLO AND MTV VJ ARE EXPECTING

NBA Star CARMELO ANTHONY and his fiancé MTV VJ LA LA VASQUEZ are expecting a baby in March. Vazquez's rep, JACK KETSOYAN, confirms the reports exclusively to People Magazine.

"The couple is very excited and they can't wait until the arrival of their new baby," Ketsoyan tells the magazine.

The baby will be their first child for the couple – who’ve been engaged since 2004 and plan to marry soon after the baby is born.

Vasquez, 27, is a VJ for MTV shows "Total Request Live," "Spring Breakdown" and "Direct Effect." Anthony, 22, plays for the Denver Nuggets and was a member of the USA basketball team that took home the bronze during the World Championships.

LINDSAY’S BAD WEEK

The New York Post reports that actress LINDSAY LOHAN and her mother DINA LOHAN were spotted at a swanky Chinese restaurant having a shouting match. Last Thursday night, Lindsay reluctantly joined her mother’s birthday celebration at Phillipe on East 60th Street.

"Lindsay got a call from her mother telling her to come to the party," a spy tells the newspaper. "Lindsay didn't want to go, because her mother was drinking already, but she went anyway. When Lindsay got there, her mother and her four friends were into their second bottle of Cristal," said a fellow diner. "Right after the first course, they started fighting."

The two began cursing each other in front of other patrons in the crowded Chinese eatery, including RYAN CABRERA, BRANDY, and SERENA WILLIAMS at nearby tables. Finally, "a mortified" Lindsay told her mother to "go to hell!" before storming out, causing Dina to start crying uncontrollably.

Mommy Lohan then proceeded to type furiously on her BlackBerry for 45 minutes, eyewitnesses report, then started throwing fortune cookies at the waiters and burst into tears again when her birthday cake came out.

Finally, after four hours of partying, the $2,000 bill was paid - with no tip for the patient waiters, who then "had to help her out of the restaurant as it closed down for the night."

In related news, Lindsay fractured her wrist when she slipped and fell at a Fashion Week party on Tuesday.

Lohan's publicist LESLIE SLOANE ZELNIK confirmed that the 20-year-old actress slipped and fell at the Milk Studios in New York, fracturing her wrist in two places. Sloane added that "there's a pending investigation" into the accident.

To make matters worse for the young star, the 20-year-old beauty was reportedly dumped by her boyfriend HARRY MORTON. People Magazine reports that the 25-year-old restauranteur – who’s been dating Lohan for three months – finally kick Lohan to the curb on Thursday at Chateau Marmont.

An insider told People magazine, "Harry broke up with Lindsay yesterday at Chateau Marmont after they had dinner on the courtyard patio. Nothing happened at dinner, but shortly afterward, he broke up with her." The source claims that Morton split with Lohan because “she was too much drama. Lindsay did cut down on the partying, but with her it's all relative. Harry is sober. It wasn't the partying that broke them up. She's young and a little bit immature. Harry's more low-key and not into the same stuff she's into."

A witness at Chateau Marmont told People how Lindsay reacted to being dumped. "She ran in, sat with her group, put down her cell phone and cried to her pals. The group looked very concerned and listened intently to what she was saying," says the onlooker.

The Shanghai Daily newspaper reports that kung-fu action star JACKIE CHAN admitted last Tuesday that he once acted in a porn movie 31 years ago, responding to a report revealed by Hong Kong media.

"I had to do anything I could to make a living 31 years ago, but I don't think it's a big deal, even MARLON BRANDO used to be exposed in his movies," Chan responded.

"The porn movie at that time was more conservative than the current films," he said.

The local media was tipped that Chan was in the porn movie "All in the Family" in 1975, with a porn movie star who was famous at that time.

The Hong Kong made movie, directed by ZHU MU, was listed as a comedy. DEAN SHEK, TIEN CHUN and SAMMO HUNG also co-starred in the raunchy flick.

AARON CARTER GETS ENGAGED

Singer AARON CARTER -- the younger brother of Backstreet Boy NICK CARTER -- proposed to his girlfriend KARI ANN PENICHE on stage last night in Las Vegas.

According to Us Magazine, the 18-year-old Carter initially planned to go directly to a local chapel but decided a proper wedding needed some planning. The couple reportedly plans to wed in the next six months.

The 22-year-old-Peniche was named Miss Teen USA in 2003 but had her title stripped after she posed nude for Playboy Magazine.

The former Playmate -- who also previously dated her new fiance’s brother Nick –- tells People Magazine, "I'm very excited about it. Aaron is the most genuine person I know. He's kind, loving, and I love him so much. I don't remember it happening. It was such a blur," says Peniche about the surprise proposal. "I had no idea he was going to do this, but I'm glad he did."
