The New York Daily News reports that former rivals PARIS HILTON and LINDSAY LOHAN have rekindled their troubled friendship. The newly free Hilton showed up to Lohan's Fourth of July party hosted by A.J. LAMAS (son of action star LORENZO LAMAS), and the two apparently buried the hatchet on their feuding
relationship.
According to newspaper reports, "Paris has decided to give Lindsay a second chance," says a spy, noting that the two were cordial. "Paris was known as a bully... she would form alliances. If a friend didn't like Lohan, then she wouldn't like Lohan. But she's through taking sides. She realized who her real friends were when she was in jail — and there weren't many."
Media reports also claim that the blonde heiress was in a particularly good mood after learning that the Blackstone Group (a private equity fund) bought her family’s Hilton Hotels chain for an astounding $26 billion –- which will definitely boost her inheritance.
NICK AND VANESSA’S SEX SCANDAL

Life & Style Magazine published censored photos of popstar NICK LACHEY and his girlfriend VANESSA MINILLO frolicking around in the nude while on vacation in Mexico last weekend. But TMZ reports that it’s nothing compared to the rest of the roll. According to the tabloid website, the rest of the photos show Nick and Vanessa engaged in some hardcore sex in a hot tub.
A source told TMZ that the pictures are "Paris Hilton sex-tape level" and shows the couple in several different sexual positions. So far, none of the uncensored photos have been released yet. And they may never get to see the light of day, since the couple’s high powered attorneys have threaten to sue anyone who publishes the pictures.
Lachey brushed off the controversy behind the risqué photos and told OK! magazine that it wasn’t a big deal.
"Where's the scandal? I was in Mexico with my girlfriend of a year, celebrating our anniversary on a private vacation. It's not like I was caught with a Mexican hooker. We've all gone out and had a few too many and done something stupid. We've all made mistakes,” Lachey said.
KATE FINALLY KICKS PETE TO THE CURB

The British Mirror newspaper reports that supermodel KATE MOSS has booted her druggie boyfriend PETE DOHERTY out of her home -- after finding out he had a "fling" with a young South African beauty last weekend.
Last Thursday, the 28-year-old Doherty was spotted kissing and cuddling a young brunette model named Lindy. The pair reportedly left London’s Crystal niteclub together and headed to a friend’s place at around 2 in the morning.
Shortly after the news broke, Moss had all of Doherty's belonging packed and moved out and the two have allegedly broken up for good.
A close pal of the 33-year-old catwalk queen tells the Mirror, "It is so over between Kate and Pete. She has brought in new security guards and Pete can't get anywhere near. They had some terrible slanging matches over the weekend, some of the worst of their relationship. Kate is absolutely furious. She hates being made a fool of and gets incredibly jealous. She just won't stand for infidelity." Doherty, due in rehab on July 16, is said to be devastated at the split and even pledged to go into the drug clinic early in an effort to win Kate back.”

The New York Post reports that wild rocker TOMMY LEE is dating ROD STEWART’s party girl daughter, KIMBERLY STEWART.
According to newspaper reports, “Tommy and Kimberly met in London several months ago and are now dating. At last week’s opening of Pink Taco in L.A., Stewart was seen running out to Lee when he was denied entry after the fire department shut the party down.
Our spy said, “They threw their arms around each other and she started saying, ‘Baby, baby,’ before kissing and leaving.”
Kimberly, 26, is now the latest in the 44-year-old Motley Crue drummer’s hook-up list. Lee is known for dating some of the most beautiful Hollywood blondes, which includes HEATHER LOCKLEAR, PAM ANDERSON, JENNA JAMESON, and TARA REID.

American competitive eater JOEY CHESTNUT was crowned victorious at the 2007 Nathan’s Hot Dog Eating Contest in Coney Island, Brooklyn on Independence Day.
Chestnut, 23, took the title away from six-time champion TAKERU KOBAYASHI of Japan by eating a record-breaking 66 hot dogs in 12 minutes.
Kobayashi -- who reportedly suffered a jaw injury while training for the event -- still managed to finish in second place with a respectable 63 hot dogs in the same allowed time.
JESS GETS BACK WITH DANE?

Life and Style Weekly reports that pop star JESSICA SIMPSON has rekindled her romance with funnyman actor DANE COOK.
The 27-year-old buxom blonde was caught canoodling with her 'Employee of the Month' co-star during Prince's VIP concert at Los Angeles' Roosevelt Hotel last Saturday.
Witnesses claim Dane and Jess -- who were reportedly dating during the filming of 'Employee of the Month' -- spent the whole evening talking and caressing one another.
A source tells the tabloid magazine, "They were laughing, joking and hanging out. They practically spent all night together, dancing and touching each other."
Last month, Simpson was reportedly dumped by musician boyfriend JOHN MAYER after a "rocky" three-month fling.
ABDUL THINKS COWELL IS SELFISH… IN BED

In a recent interview with Britain’s Metro newspaper, ‘American Idol’ judge PAULA ABDUL was asked if there was any sexual chemistry between her and her co-star SIMON COWELL.
To which she responded, "Oh God. [Cowell] He’s like a brother, so it would be some scary incest. The thought is terrible. I couldn’t be with him. He’d be a selfish lover – he’d wear his condoms ribbed on the inside."
