Paris Pranks Nicole, Jim Dating Jenny?

In Touch Weekly is reporting that NICOLE RICHIE has been complaining to friends that she thinks hotel heiress PARIS HILTON is been crank-calling her.

“Nicole has been getting phony phone calls very late at night, practically every night, and she suspects the culprit is her ex-best friend,” reports the forthcoming issue of the magazine.

“Nicole doesn't have proof, but she's almost sure it’s Paris,” a friend tells the magazine.

Reps for both denied the story, but, coincidentally, back when the two were still friends, they were accused of making a number of unwanted calls to OZZY OSBOURNE’s daughter, AIMEE.

Meanwhile, the New York Daily News is claiming that Ritchie bashes her former best friend. Richie's first novel ‘The Truth About Diamonds’, was released on Monday and contains what many assume to be an underlining account of her friendship with the hotel heiress. The proposed ‘Hilton’ character is named SIMONE WESTLAKE, while Richie's alias is CHLOE PARKER.

In an excerpt of the book, Richie describes Simone as "'a model, an actress and an all-around professional fake-rich girl' who has never been 'seen out of pumps since puberty...not even in her night-vision skin flicks.'" Simone uses Chloe and then betrays her. Predictably, Chloe is seen as an innocent victim in it all.

JIM DATING JENNY?

The tabloid magazine claims the pair are "involved in funny business." A source close to the couple tells the publication, "Jenny and Jim seem really into each other... They're spending a lot of time together, and I hear things are getting pretty steamy!"

MTVe reports that actress HALLE BERRY is pregnant. The Oscar-winning actress is reportedly expecting her first child together with her new boyfriend, actor MICHAEL EALY.

The sexy actress has made no secret of her desire to become a mother.

She recently admitted that she was desperate to have children before she turns 40 next year, telling talkshow host OPRAH WINFREY, "If there's no serious man, whoever I'm dating at the time, I'll say, 'Hey, would you like to have a baby? Police are investigating a video that shows celebrity socialite PARIS HILTON during a purported drunk-driving incident reports Digital Spy, UK.

Hilton was in her $162,000 Bentley GT with her new boyfriend, STAVROS NIARCHOS -- who was driving -- when he smashed the car into the back of a parked truck.

The couple -- who were accompanied by Hilton' new best friend KIMBERLY STEWART and 'Laguna Beach' star TALAN TORRIERO -- were trying to avoid being followed by paparazzi after leaving a Hollywood nightclub when the accident occurred.

Onlookers claim they hopped into the car and Stavros –- who looked absolutely wasted -- put a coat over his head before driving into the back of a large commercial truck, scratching the hood of the car. Then the car sped away, narrowly missing a bystander on the street.

Soon after that, the car was pulled over by the police, where Talan told the cops that he was the only sober one and that he could drive. In appreciation for letting them go, video footage shows Hilton blowing a kiss to the cops as she says “We love the police.”

There is no evidence on tape that the police ever conducted field sobriety tests on the driver.

OPRAH’S NOT BUYING TOM’S ANTICS

The public were amazed when actor TOM CRUISE bounced on OPRAH WINFREY's couch proclaiming his love for KATIE HOLMES, but the talkshow queen told "Good Morning America" she had no idea what was going on at the time.

"It was wilder than it was appearing to me," Winfrey explained. "I was just trying to maintain the truth for myself because I couldn't figure out what was going on. And what I was prepared for was the dance that happens when you're doing celebrities -- when you know they're not going to tell you, but you're going to ask anyway, and then you try asking another way."

Instead of the typical media "dance," Winfrey was confronted with a laughable Irish jig on top of her furniture.

MAN MURDERED AT 50 CENT MOVIE

Rapper 50 CENT said he was saddened by a fatal shooting at a theater where his movie "Get Rich or Die Tryin'" was playing.

"I feel for the victim's family in this situation," 50 said on ABC's ‘The View’ on Friday. "But you know, these weren't kids. This was a 30-year-old man (who) had a dispute with three other guys."

SHELTON FLOWERS, 30, was shot at least three times Wednesday night after he got into an argument with another man inside a Loews multiplex just east of Pittsburgh.

Allegheny County police said Flowers had just watched 50 Cent's movie and got into a confrontation with three men in the bathroom. A fight ensued and spilled out into the concessions area, where Flowers was shot, police said.

No one has been arrested.

It was not known what movie the three men had seen, but Loew Corporation has decided to stop showing it at the theater during the investigation.

In related news, Reuters media recently caught up with the controversial rapper at the premiere of 'Get Rich Or Die Tryin'' in Hollywood, where he defended US PRESIDENT GEORGE W. BUSH in wake of criticism after Hurricane Katrina hit the Gulf coast.

"There is a lot of pressure on Bush as president of our country," 50 said. "A lot of things going on, this doesn't happen so often all the things that have happened under his presidency. Yes we were, and we are both gangsters."

SHARON ATTACKS MOTHER TERESA

Rock matriarch SHARON OSBOURNE has launched a scathing verbal attack on the late Christian missionary MOTHER TERESA -- because she’s sickened by people who try to be "everything to everybody".

Osbourne, wife of rocker OZZY OSBOURNE, had no compassion for the beloved Mother Teresa, who died in 1997 at the age of 87.

She says, "Nobody is everything to everybody. I didn't like Mother Teresa. See? Somebody didn't like her. Ugly old c*nt in sandals."

Meanwhile, Osbourne continued her assault on pop queen MADONNA, who she now blasts for writing children's books.

The outspoken star has slammed the ‘Material Girl’ for constantly reinventing her image and says the 47-year-old mother-of-two should act her age.

In an interview with British music magazine, Word -- Osbourne ranted, "It's like dressing up with her. One day you're in f*cking gun gear, then you're in horsing gear, then you dress like a f*cking dyke, then you dress like a hooker, then you're in a flowery dress reading kids' poetry looking like you're a f*cking librarian -- then you're back looking like an old hooker again.

"You can't one day be in Horse and Hound magazine and the next in Dyke Weekly".

This is not the first time Osbourne has attacked Madonna -– just last month she expressed to reported that she wanted to "punch" the pop superstar because she was "full of sh*t".

SIMPSOM SLAMMED FOR SAFARI TOUR

"Newlyweds" star JESSICA SIMPSON is facing a flood of criticism from humanitarian groups after she allegedly interrupted a 10-day charity visit to Kenya with a $1,500 safari -- despite insisting she was too ill to visit local impoverished children.

According to Reuters News, the singer reportedly spent just two days with Operation Smile -- a charity repairing facial deformities in children -- before embarking on a fun-filled recreational trip in the Masai Mara National Reserve last week.

A representative for the charity says, "Jessica got sick, like people do, and couldn't get out of bed."

But the excuse has been challenged by a hotel insider who alleges, "Simpson was not ill, no doctor was called out to see her."

Referring to the safari, an Operation Smile spokesperson says, "It was scheduled downtime."

The reality TV star's trip reportedly cost a staggering $12,500.

It joins the rap superstar’s ever growing empire which includes ventures in clothing, a football league, and amateur porn videos.

In justifying their new venture, Snoop’s brother and business manager BING WORTHINGTON said, “Snoop takes advantage of everything. This rap money isn’t long. Just ask MC Hammer.”

Creatively titled "Snoop Doggs," the foot-long wieners will be produced by a popular Massachusetts hot dog business and will be available in grocery stores in January 2006.
