Ryan And Reese Split, Josh Defends Fergie

MTV UK reports that hip hop star KANYE WEST threw a hissy fit after losing the “Best Video” prize at the MTV European Music Awards on Thursday night in Denmark.

The Chicago rapper was nominated for a few awards, but when he lost in the category for best video, West stormed the stage and unleashed a verbal tirade.

As winners JUSTICE AND SIMIAN collected their award for “We Are Your Friends”, West stole the spotlight and started spouting profanities.

He whined, "Fuck dis! (My video) cost a million dollars, PAMELA ANDERSON was in it, I was jumping across canyons and shit! If I don't win, the awards show loses credibility. Nothing against you (Justice and Simian), but hell man."

He continued to put his foot in his mouth, by saying, "I haven't seen it (the Justice and Simian video). Possibly it could have been quite good but no way better than (his video) “Touch The Sky”. That is complete bullshit, I paid a million. Obviously it's not all about the money, but the response it got transcended everything, it really made great TV. It took a month to film; I stood on a mountain; I flew a helicopter over Vegas. I did it to be the king of all videos and I wanted to walk home with that award."

Pop star JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE –- who hosted the awards show -- maintained a great sense of humor, joking, "After the show, Kanye will be in the parking lot accepting awards he didn’t win. Seriously though, I've got sexy covered, it's good to see someone's doing crazy."

RYAN AND REESE SPLIT

After seven years of marriage, Hollywood power couple REESE WITHERSPOON and RYAN PHILLIPPE have officially separated.

The seemingly happy couple's rep released a statement to TMZ Monday morning that read, "We are saddened to announce that Reese & Ryan have decided to formally separate. They remain committed to their family and we ask that you please respect their privacy and the safety of their children at this time."

Oscar-winning actress Reese initiated the split, though sources say it wasn't triggered by a single event but rather it was "cumulative."

Divorce papers have not yet been filed but the 30-year-old actress has contacted famed divorce lawyer ROBERT KAUFMAN, who has represented celebrities JENNIFER ANISTON, ROSEANNE and LISA MARIE PRESLEY.

In related news, the National Enquirer tabloid claims that the reason behind the surprise break-up is because Witherspoon suspected Phillippe of having an affair with Aussie actress ABBIE CORNISH after discovering intimate messages to the mystery girl from the actor on his BlackBerry.

The Enquirer says, “Reese discovered Ryan's messages when she accompanied him to New York for the premiere of his movie "Flags of Our Fathers" on Oct. 16. At the premiere the couple smiled and posed for photos together, "but when they got back to the hotel, Reese found Ryan's BlackBerry, which he'd carelessly left in the bathroom — and she read it," said the source. "Ryan was caught red-handed. All he could say was he didn't mean what he'd written to the other woman."

To add to the alleged betrayal, Witherspoon may pay dearly for her split from Phillippe as the couple reportedly have no prenuptial agreement.

Phillippe could walk away with a pile of dough because under California law, cash is divided equally without a prenup.

Witherspoon made $30 million for just two movies last year. Phillippe brings in around $2.5 million a film.

NICOLE PREFERS SHOPPING OVER HER HEALTH

MSNBC reports that NICOLE RICHIE skipped out of the rehabilitation centre she checked herself into after just 72 hours –- to go shopping.

According to the website, "Richie checked herself into the Beau Monde, a swank $80,000-a-month treatment center in Newport Beach, Calif. The buzz is she’s seeking treatment for an eating disorder, but her reps insist that it’s merely to determine why she’s unable to put on weight. But after less than 72 hours in the center, Richie checked herself out, explaining that she wanted to go shopping… The staffers at Beau Monde begged her to stay... 'Nicole is in complete denial and oblivious to how sick she really is.' "

The source also reports that not long after checking out she started partying with wild child LINDSAY LOHAN.

Actress LINDSAY LOHAN reportedly spoke candidly with News of the World newspaper. During the interview, she talked openly about her battles with eating disorders, admitted to using drugs, and expressed her desire to have sex with as many people as possible.

On her eating disorders:
Lohan says, "I was making myself sick. Sometimes being that thin doesn't look healthy. I kind of didn't realize that. One time when someone asked me if I was OK, I just started bawling. I knew I had a problem and just could not admit it. My arms were disgusting. I had no arms. I had people sit me down and say, 'You're going to die if you don't take care of yourself'. I feel great about my body now. When I was in hospital I was overworked and stressed out and that's when they started talking about my weight. Now I am comfortable in my own skin and I like having a shape and having breasts the size they are."

On using drugs:
Lohan admitted, "I've tried pot. I hated it."

On having promiscuous sex:
Lohan revealed, "Sex And The City(the TV show) changed everything for me because those girls would just sleep with so many people. And that's me. I'm not dating just one person. It is the variety of partners everyone likes, especially at my age. I'm like ANGELINA JOLIE, taking on lovers. I don't need a steady relationship. I mean if the sex is bad, the relationship's not going anywhere. Anyway, I don't even think I have had my best kiss yet. I have only been in love once and that was with Wilmer. But the timing was bad. And there were all these girls around. He would flirt and I couldn't handle that. I couldn't trust him. My mum's going to kill me for talking about sleeping with people - but if I'm going to give my body to someone, I'd rather them not be with other people. It's very old-fashioned. Celebrity socialite PARIS HILTON is reportedly interested in going where no socialite has gone before -- to outer space.

According to Life Style Extra, “The hotel heiress plans to take her real TV show 'The Simple Life' into orbit and have cameras filming her as she trains to be the first celebrity astronaut. A source said, "She imagines she would be followed by cameras going through all the training before ultimately blasting off to become the world's first celeb astronaut."

In related news, PR Inside reports that Hilton told Seventeen magazine that the men she dates always expect her to put out, while all she wants to do is eat and watch TV.

Hilton quips, “People shouldn't judge me and assume that's how I am. I get in so many fights with guys who are like, "In public, you are the sexiest sex symbol, but you're not sexual at all at home.” I'm like, "Whatever, shut up. I don't wanna be." I'd rather watch a movie or Lost, or like, eat.”

50 CENT AND DeNIRO TEAM UP

Zap 2 It! news reports that rapper 50 CENT will take the law into his own hands when he teams up with legendary screen star ROBERT DeNIRO. The unlikely duo are slated to star in a gritty cop thriller, entitled ‘New Orleans’.

50 –- real name CURTIS JACKSON -- will play DeNiro's partner as they investigate a mysterious murder in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina.

The film is scheduled to begin filming in February.

SNOOP CHARGED

AllHipHop website reports that rapper SNOOP DOGG has been charged with felony possession of a deadly weapon. The alleged incident occurred when Snoop –- real name CALVIN BROADUS -- tried to bring a police baton through security at John Wayne International Airport in California. If convicted, Snoop could face up to 3 years in jail.

Just last week the lanky rapper was arrested on drug and weapon possession at the Bob Hope airport in Burbank, California.

JOSH DEFENDS FERGIE

According to the Nations Enquirer, actor JOSH DUHAMEL got into a scuffle with an extra on the set of his hit show "Las Vegas," when the extra started mouthing off about his lust for Duhamel’s girlfriend FERGIE -- the singer for the Black Eyed Peas.

Sources on the "Las Vegas" set claim that while Duhamel prepared for a scene, he overheard one extra saying to another that he would like to "F**k" Fergie.

An outraged Duhamel immediately approached the extra and yelled, "What did you say?" Before the extra had a chance to respond, the actor had pushed him so hard that he slammed into another extra.

The extra wasn't about to back down and reportedly pushed Duhamel back. The 34-year-old actor was about to punch the extra when crewmembers jumped in to separate the men and security was called. The extra was asked to leave the set and Duhamel continued on with the scene.

THE HASSELHOFF CHOP

LifeStyle Extra reports that former ‘Baywatch’ star DAVID HASSELHOFF has threatened to chop off his daughter's boyfriend's penis.

The ageing actor -- who has two teenage daughters, 16-year-old TAYLOR ANN and 14-year-old HAYLEY -- is reportedly very protective of his children and has warned prospective boyfriends to be on their best behavior with his girls or else.

Hasselhoff told Elle magazine, "My oldest daughter is dating an older boy, so I said to her, 'You're only 16. There's plenty of time to have sex and fall in love.' To him, I said, 'If you hurt my daughter in any way, I will take you outside and I will cut your thing off. I will have no problem spending the rest of my life in prison.'"

Entertainment Weekly reports that legendary TV host BOB BARKER will tape his last episode of ‘The Price is Right’ in June. The beloved Barker has been the host of the popular game show for 35 years.

He said, “I will be 83 years old on December 12 and I’ve decided to retire while I’m still young. I’ve gone on and on and on to this ancient age because I’ve enjoyed it. I’ve thoroughly enjoyed it and I’m going to miss it.”

Barker had been honest with the show’s producers about his retirement for a few years now and they’ve been actively looking for a replacement. No news yet on who that person will be.
