Are you a workaholic?
There are lots of people out there who are workaholics but don’t even know it. Here are some clues to determining whether you are a workaholic:
- Do you feel guilty when you are not working?

- Do you end up missing or skipping meals because you are working?
- Do you check your email and/or voicemail when you are on vacation?
- Do you take all your allotted holidays?
If you answered yes to several or all of the questions above, you are probably a workaholic. But don’t worry – even if you are a workaholic, you can still find ways to meet women so that you can find something other than work to do on the weekends.

Most workaholics spend a lot of time on their computers, so why not take advantage of that? Internet dating is another contemporary dating scheme that is a very convenient way for busy people, and those who spend most of their time working or on their computers, to meet other people who are interested in starting a relationship.

Plus, workaholics make very good internet daters for a reason – workaholics tend to approach any new “project” in their lives in the same way so adding internet dating to the mix will be simple for many workaholics. For example, just as workaholics check their email many times a day, they can get in the habit of emailing and chatting with new people regularly. For workaholics, one of the many benefits of internet dating is that you can regulate how much time you spend chatting or emailing each other. Workaholics, who have too much work and not enough time, find this very appealing. Depending on your profession then, meeting people at work might be the best place for workaholics.
Once you start dating…
Let’s jump ahead and assume that you’ve met someone now. Keep in mind that your workaholic tendencies might be a forgivable flaw at the beginning of the relationship, but over time, this might wear thin. Your partner might start to wonder how she can get your attention, and she might start to feel like as though you aren’t interested in her because you spend most of your time with your first passion: work.
For these reasons, you should try to balance your work and social life, where possible. Or, when you meet someone and start dating, you should tell her that your job demands that you spend a lot of time working. That way, when she doesn’t see you between 8am and 8pm, she won’t start wondering where you are.
