Page Six has reportedly solved the mystery behind the BRAD PITT and JENNIFER ANISTON shocking breakup. According to the article, the former 'Friends' star claims she was convinced Brad, who is reportedly enjoying a full-blown romance with his 'Mr and Mrs Smith' co-star ANGELINA JOLIE, was having an affair.

Contrary to early speculation, "She did want babies with Brad, and that starting a family wasn't the issue," one source told Page Six. "The issue was Brad cheated... and she is appalled by the 'family photos' coming out in W." Brad and Angelina posed with pretend kids as one big happy family in the upcoming monthly.

Actor TOM CRUISE has officially proposed to new love KATIE HOLMES. Cruise, who is in Paris promoting his new movie 'War of the Worlds', got down on one knee at the top of the Eiffel Tower in the early hours of this morning.

"Today is a magnificent day for me, I'm engaged to a magnificent woman," he told reporters. "It was early this morning at the Eiffel Tower, so I haven't slept at all." When asked why he'd chosen France's most famous landmark for the proposal, Tom added, "I've never been to the Eiffel Tower. It's Paris, it's a beautiful city, and it's very romantic."

It will be a third wedding for the 42-year-old star, who was previously married to MIMI ROGERS and NICOLE KIDMAN. 'Dawson's Creek' star Holmes, 26, was previously engaged to American Pie actor CHRIS KLIEN, but called off the wedding in January.

JACKO REALITY SHOW?

According to the Hollywood Reporter, a reality show featuring troubled pop star MICHAEL JACKSON and his family has been pitched to several networks. The prospective six-episode series was proposed just days before Jackson's not-guilty verdict was announced on Monday.

The project is a behind-the-scenes look at how the family rallied around Michael following his indictment in November 2003.

But a spokeswoman for ABC says, "We were pitched and we passed."

A spokesman for A&E Networks has also confirmed that the network had also been approached but declined the proposition.

A representative for the FOX TV network says, "We were contacted. We're passing."

CBS also received an offer, according to reports, though bosses are yet to make a statement on it.

Meanwhile, Jackson's official website MJJSource.com is celebrating his "not guilty" verdict in true flamboyant MJ style. The site compares the verdict to the birth of MARTIN LUTHER KING, the release of NELSON MANDELA from prison, and the fall of the Berlin Wall.

BRITNEY HAS FAKE BOOBS?

Pop princess BRITNEY SPEARS has always denied having breast implants. Okay, you may have already suspected it, but old actress SALLY KIRKLAND has confirmed it.

Kirkland claims she knows who did Spears' surgery, and apparently he's pretty horrible at it. Kirkland -- who's 60-years-old now -- got implants many years ago and had major health problems because of them and is now warning Spears of the possible consequences.

"I happen to know Britney Spears' breast-implant doctor, and I just hope she does not breastfeed. Because if she does, she could give her baby so many future health problems."

Spears' rep responded with the typical denial. "Thank you, Sally, for your concern for Britney, but she does not have breast implants, so you don't need to worry."

LINDSAY'S MOM TO DO PLAYBOY?

Star People reports that Dina is in talks to bare her boxum body -- which still looks incredible at age 44 -- in a spread for Playboy magazine.

"Dina has long dreamt of a photo shoot in the magazine, and has even submitted her pictures to editors several times over the years," an insider claims. But the insider adds that only recently, since her daughter's film successes, did editors notice.

Although no deal has been officially signed, Dina is said to be excited about the direction the Playboy discussions are headed.

However her rep insists, "It's absolutely not true. This is the first Dina has heard of it. She has never pitched Playboy. If she's approached, she will decline."

KID ROCK ASKED TO PAY UP

Back in February, rock rapper KID ROCK was arrested for assault on a DJ in Nashville, Tennessee. Now the battered DJ JAY CAMPOS is launching his own civil suit against the rapper. Kid Rock allegedly punched Campos over the selection of music he was playing. At the time Rock was charged with simple assault and was released on $3,000 bond. Campos is now asking for $500,000 in damages for mental anguish and permanent physical injuries.

A pair of underwear worn by pop legend MADONNA fetched $1,900 on Thursday, despite being deemed unsuitable for sale on eBay.

The sexy black lace underwear -- worn by Madonna in the 1993 movie "Body of Evidence" -- was sold by the Private Eyes Gentlemen's Club in Scotland.

The lap dancing establishment purchased the dirty undies from a Hollywood costume shop, and had displayed them in a wall-mounted cabinet -- but following renovations the club's owner decided it was time for a change.

But owner TONY COCHRANE's eBay offer was cut short when the Web site's administrators informed him that sales of used underwear were not allowed.

However, an American fan -- who had already placed a bid -- agreed a private sale.

Cochrane says, "We are delighted to have sold them and are just sorting out final fees so the underwear can be transported to America. It was always our intention to sell them to a true fan and we are happy with the sale."
