COSBY CONFESSES, ACCUSER'S REQUESTS

The Tabloid TV program "Celebrity Justice" has uncovered two new twists in the BILL COSBY investigation. The comedic legend has been accused of a sex crime by a woman who claims he drugged, and then fondled her at his home last year.

During Cosby's interview with the police, the comedian admits that he had a sexual encounter with his accuser, but that it was entirely consensual. Cosby - who has become a controversial figure lately due to his harsh lectures on moral family values - described the sexual encounter as "not intercourse," and that it involved primarily touching.

Sources also reveal that months after the encounter, the unidentified woman, who now lives in Canada, asked Cosby for tickets for her and her family to his performance at Casinorama, north of Toronto. Cosby reportedly obliged and the tickets were picked up at the Will Call window.

At the time of the alleged incident, the woman worked for the Temple University women's basketball team. Her lawyers believe that Cosby gave the woman what she identified as "herbal" pills of some sort and that she was, "legally incapacitated" when she says Cosby fondled her. But Cosby's representatives flatly deny that the comedian gave her any herbal pill whatsoever.

DE ROSSI AND DEGENERES WEDDING?

According to the New York Post, actress PORTIA DE ROSSI has given herself and lesbian lover ELLEN DEGENERES a Tiffany wedding band to signify her devotion to the comedienne.

The "Arrested Development" actress gave the band to DeGeneres on her 47th birthday after only a two-month courtship. De Rossi dumped her long-term lover FRANCESCA GREGRINI to be with Degeneres last month.

A source says, "It signifies their commitment to each other."

However, the happy couple are unlikely to hold a ceremony to celebrate their union because gay marriages are illegal in California.

Meanwhile, De Rossi is having laser removal treatment on a tattoo of the initials "F.G." from her wedding finger (Gregorini has a similar tattoo, which the pair had done as a symbol of their devotion).

IS SPONGEBOB TOO GAY?

SPONGEBOB SQUAREPANTS creator STEPHEN HILLENBURG has condemned any suggestions that his yellow box cartoon character is homosexual, insisting the loveable sponge is "asexual."

A new children's music video starring SpongeBob, BARNEY (the purple dinosaur), WINNIE THE POOH (the honey loving chubby bear) and a host of other cartoon favorites has been slapped with a gay-alert warning by Christian Conservative groups. The video was created by the nonprofit We Are Family Foundation to encourage tolerance and diversity, but has been met with disapproval by American Family Association and Focus on the Family, who claim the advertisement promotes acceptance of homosexuality.

Hillenburg responded by laughing off the right wing groups' views, saying, "It doesn't have anything to do with what we're trying to do. We never intended them to be gay. I consider them to be almost asexual. We're just trying to be funny and this has got nothing to do with the show."

PENELOPE ATTACKED BY TWO MEN

Spanish siren PENELOPE CRUZ has hired her first bodyguard after an attack in Paris, France last Sunday. The British Sun reports that the gorgeous actress was in the back seat of a Mercedes, when two men tried to shatter the passenger window to rob her.

But her chauffeur fortunately sped away from the men, while Cruz allegedly continued to sob in the back seat.

An insider says, "Penelope cried all the way back to the hotel. She was very frightened.

" One of the men had a large rock and was ramming it on the glass. How it didn't smash was a miracle."

PARIS GETS A ROTTI

Hotel hottie PARIS HILTON has adopted a new canine companion for her little Chihuahua TINKERBELL -- a pure bred Rottweiler.

But a close source insists Hilton, who rescued the dog from a shelter, will pamper the pooch and not train him to become an attack dog.

Her representative tells the New York Daily News, "She loves animals. She got him on Monday, and he's just a baby." No doubt the socialite will have outfits fitted for her new pooch pal.

PARIS' LOVE LETTERS TO NICK

The New York Post has obtained several love letters from hotel heiress PARIS HILTON written to her then Backstreet boyfriend NICK CARTER.

The slew of sappy and childish block written letters sheds some light on the relationship that ended last July.

The letters from 2004 declare her undying love for Carter, and in one she apologizes for lying to him. "Paris, AKA Le Bean," wishes Carter a happy birthday, and states: "I don't want you to ever worry because I would never [bleep] this up for anything in the world. It's been really hard for me these past couple of months and I'm so happy I found you. You are the [bleep] and I love you to death."

A Valentine's card, which features heart-shaped candies with slogans like, "Spoil me," "Tease Me," "Squeeze Me" and "Love Me", reads: "Sometimes I forget you can't see my thoughts or into my heart... I really hope and believe this will last forever."

Another letter was accompanied by photos the heiress had cut out of a magazine showing herself looking sad with the headline: "Paris feels real pain." "Dear Nick, This is how I look and feel when I'm away from you," she wrote.

In another Paris penned: "I just wanted to let you know how sorry I am for lying to you before and I want to let you know that it will never happen again. I can't explain the pain I felt when I thought I lost you. It was like half of me had been ripped from my soul. I never felt so alone and I never want to feel that way again. I never want to lose you. I never want to hurt you again... I'm so sorry for the pain that I have caused you. From now on things will be different, I promise."

Paris then promised to get a tattoo to mark a "new beginning" and, "to erase all the past bullsh*t we have done to each other." The note is signed, "Paris (your bunny forever.)"

Another letter marking the couple's "4-month anniversary," says: "I know you probably wonder from time to time what you mean to me... you mean the world to me. Think of something you couldn't live without and multiply it by a hundred."

Awwww, that's hot! But a hundred? Why not a thousand?

GOTTI FACES FEDERAL CHARGES

The Associated Press reports The Inc.'s CEO, IRV GOTTI surrendered yesterday to federal authorities to face money-laundering charges. Prosecutors said he had aided a friend and convicted drug kingpin in concealing more than $1 million in illicit narcotics proceeds. Four people associated with The Inc. were charged with money laundering in the indictment that was unsealed yesterday.

Gotti, whose given name is IRVING LORENZO; his brother CHRISTOPHER LORENZO, RONALD ROBINSON, a manager for rapper JA RULE; and CYNTHIA BRENT, a bookkeeper at the label were named. The Lorenzo brothers were arraigned yesterday in federal court in Brooklyn. They plead not guilty and were released on $1 million bond, after putting up their parents' house in Bronxville as security. Gotti has repeatedly denied accepting drug money to run his label.

He made a brief statement to the press saying "In no way have I done anything wrong except make great music that people seem to love. That's all I'm guilty of".

OUT OF THE BLUE: DEBBIE POSES FOR PLAYBOY

Former 80's teen pop idol DEBBIE GIBSON is ready to finally shed her clean-cut image and clothes, after reportedly posing for Playboy magazine, which will coincide with a new single titled 'Naked'. Gibson follows fellow 80s star TIFFANY, who bared all for the magazine giant in a 2002 spread.

The 34-year-old actress and singer, who has starred in Broadway shows such as "Cabaret" and "Grease" since moving away from the pop world, had previously refused requests to shed her clothing for the cameras.

In a 2001 interview with the USA Today newspaper, Gibson said, "I was born in the wrong era. I'm not comfortable with showing everyone everything. I never say never though. I've said I'd never get a tattoo and I got one."

Who's next from the 80s to bare all? Gibson's spread in the March issue of Playboy will hit newsstands on February 11.

SHERIDAN'S NUDE PICTURES FOR SALE

" Desperate Housewives" star NICOLETTE SHERIDAN is reportedly furious because her former friend is selling what he claims are raunchy nude photographs of the blonde actress.

In some snapshots, the British-born blonde shows off her 34B-24-35 curves in a see-through bodysuit. In others she's topless in a cowboy hat.

The New York Post reports an ex-pal photographer of the 41-year-old star, who plays divorcee Edie Britt in the hit ABC show, is offering the images to the highest bidder.

The unnamed man says, "I think they are beautiful pictures and they should be seen. She doesn't want me to sell them. But the way I look at it, if Mr. Blackwell named her the worst-dressed person, she might as well be the least-dressed person."

Despite the photographer's marketing strategy, Playboy has turned down the chance to publish the photos, but Hustler magazine is reported to be interested.
