The Ampallang
One of the least popular and more difficult penis piercings, the Ampallang is inserted horizontally through the head of the penis. It is sometimes done above, under or through the urethra. The most important part of this piercing is to have it done correctly and straight, due to various important nerves and arteries. Also, getting an Ampallang is a slower process than the ole' Prince Albert. The needle has to be fed in slowly, causing severe discomfort.
The Apadravya
This piercing is actually mentioned in the Kama Sutra, and is very similar to the Ampallang, except that it is a vertical piercing through the head of the penis. The Frenum
The second most popular piercing, after the Prince Albert, is the Frenum. This is the skin located on the underside of the penis shaft. The Perineum
Also known as the Guiche, this piercing is located in dark netherworld of the scrotal sac near the anus. Obviously a less popular piercing because of the location and the associated trouble with keeping it clean and free of infection, the Guiche is a difficult piercing to maintain. It's a surface piercing in an area of the body that doesn't see much sunlight and therefore is typically moist, warm and poorly ventilated. This is not recommended for men who ride bicycles or have to sit a lot.
The Hafada
The Hafada, also known as the scrotum piercing, can be both good and bad. The thinness of scrotum skin is a benefit, because it means that the scrotum can be pierced pretty much anywhere and is relatively painless compared to some of the other piercings. However, the location can be irritating, thus making healing difficult. This piercing suffers from the same problems as the perineum piercing; they're both poorly ventilated areas with natural perspiration.
