The high heat and humidity of summer combined with a lack of air conditioning can drain your energy and kill your
sex life. But do not despair! Air conditioning has only been around since 1902, but the human race has managed to keep proliferating. We asked some of our female friends to give us tips on how they keep cool when things start to get hot. So if you and your partner have been suffering from a lack of summer loving, check out the tips from those that using the heat to their advantage!
Brittany – sex and water go together like ice in a cocktail.
“Okay. What you guys have to understand is that us girls don’t like to get sweaty. Actually, that’s not totally true. We like to get sweaty, but we don’t like to start off making love that way. My boyfriend understands my concerns, so in the summer we like to mix water into the equation. A cool shower – not cold! – late at night is a great place to start. Same with a bath. Fucking in a bathtub is amazing, but don’t have the water temperature too hot! You have to remember – this not some sexy weekend at a ski lodge, you are trying to keep cool. But you can’t make the water too cold. And don’t worry about the mess, since water will go everywhere. It’s refreshing, sexy, and you'll stay cool the whole time.”
Tannis – nudity, a fan, and lots of imagination.
“I hate people that bitch about the heat. What’s the big deal? If you were in Mexico for a winter holiday, chances are you wouldn’t hesitate to have sex on the beach, so why get all weird about it in the summer? I LOVE the heat! Nothing is sexier than two people covered in sweat, sliding against each other, having sex until you are gasping for air. If you need to cool down, use ice on your nipples – or at least on my nipples! A handful of ice on the scrotum does wonders for a man, even though it might sound painful for those who are reading this. And the very best thing about a hot sticky summer? Nudity! I walk around naked all the time, just so I can feel a cool breeze on my bare skin. Yummy!”
Lysa – outdoors under a starry sky.
“My favorite thing to do is make love under a big starry sky. It is always cooler at night, so my boyfriend and I just pop a window and climb out onto the roof. If you stay up high enough, there are no bugs to bite you where you don’t want to get bitten. To mix things up, go out during a rainstorm – cool and sexy. If you don’t have a roof – improvise! Why do you think girls wear skirts in the summer? Any tree, balcony, bench, golf course, mini-putt, neighbor’s pool, bike, boat, dock, etc. will do. It beats going at it in a pile of sweat in your hot bedroom.”
Kimberly – other people’s air-conditioning.
“I get way too tired to have sex when it’s hot. We have air-conditioning, but when it breaks down, so does our sex life. Once, when the heat was killing us, we decided to go to my partner’s office. No TV, air-conditioned room, and a nice big desk. Hmm? What to do? Well, that set off flurry of fucking that lasted a few weeks long. I don’t think anyone’s office desk was safe. We even tried out the elevator. We were never sure if security watched us on camera, but it was a total rush. We kept waiting for someone to press a button. Anyway, if you don’t have an office, there’s always the movie theatre or the mall. But if you go to a show, make sure it is a lousy movie, or at least one with no curious kids.”
Holly – Silk, satin, and timing.
“Here’s the deal. Like, it is so easy to make things cool in the bedroom, that you don’t even need air-conditioning. I use lots of silk and satin. It feels cool on the bare skin, and it is nice and slippery and sexy. So you keep cool, and get really, really horny. As soon as it starts to warm up, I store the comforter and change the sheets. To make things work even better, never have sex between 10-4 – the same hours they tell you to stay out of the sun. You will just end up getting tired, sweaty, and drained of energy. Wait until the sun sets, or go at it in the morning like I do. “
Chantal – basement and cool tiles.
“Oh, I love the feel of a cool floor on my bare skin. It’s like having sweet and sour sauce, you know? My basement is only partly finished, and it’s always cooler than the upper floors. It makes for a new, interesting, cool place to make love. Normally I like to be on top, but it is much better to be pressed against that cold floor. We have tiles in our kitchen as well, so we often end up there as well. So nice, so cool.”
Monique – lakes, pools, and sprinklers.
“Yes, it is so hot in summer. But I look forward to the lovemaking in the water. My partner, he likes to go camping. Together, we go to the lake and swim out to a floating dock, or sometimes we kick away from shore using a float. Once away from the beach, we make love under the water. It is amazing. From the shore, I am sure we look totally normal, but perhaps a little close together. We do this in pools at night, but the lake is best. The water is always so cool and inviting. At night it is even more exciting – all that darkness. The water feels like a cool blanket.”
